What are the different types of managers in the management?

Companies have several positions it starts from engineers to accountants and designers to product quality checkers. Every field is different in it's working approach and work at different levels, on the contrary, they are yet attached to each other in some of the other forms. Managers are responsible to monitor the work of their subordinates, they plan, organize, and control the ideas that are formulated. They work with directing the management path and take care of communication between different levels of the organization.

1. General managers:

These are the topmost level of managers that are present in the company. They comprise all the presidents, CEO, COO, etc. They work with managing all the duties of higher executives, they are responsible for forming strategies and creating a good client relationship with different people. They appoint higher-level managers and designate departments inside the company. These can be of different types like corporate level, business level, and many more.

2. Functional managers:

The functional managers manage the various functions or branches of function. They are responsible to carry out various tasks, like marketing, production, purchasing, and so on. They work under the general managers and their main task lies in motivating their subordinates in their respective departments.

3. Frontline managers:

These managers directly work with employees and motivate them to do the designated task. They work directly with employees and carry all the suggestions and problems upwards in the hierarchy.
